The Everest Advance Base Camp Trek bestows distinctive scenes of the highest peak on Earth- Mount Everest. The experience of trekking to a secluded northern face of Mount Everest via the east Rongbuk Glacier and traversing along beautiful, enormous sceneries of Tibet, also known the “Roof of the World” is utterly unforgettable. The Everest Advanced Base Camp Trek combines splendid Tibetan culture with the highest trekking trails in the world which can be accomplished without using ice axes, crampons, or any climbing skills. You would be experiencing a wonderful encompassment of nature and of culture with the combination of splendid views of mountains. The Everest Advanced Base Camp Trek starts with a sightseeing tour in Lhasa where you will visit the Sera Monastery, the Norbulingka Palace, the Jokhang Temple, the Potala Palace and the Drepung Monastery. En-route to Shigatse from Lhasa, you will also pass through Khampa La, lying 15,700ft high, which bestows spectacular view of Ningdzingzonka- the enormous snow-capped peak and of the cerulean Yamdrok Lake.

To accomplish the Everest Advanced Base Camp Trek, we will move ahead from Everest Base Camp to Camp I, witnessing amazing views of Mount Everest, Mount Shishapangma (8,013m) and the Cho Oyu Peak (8,201m) among many others. On the way to Interim Camp lying at the height of 5760m, we will discern the views of massive ice peaks like the Pumori (7,161m), Nuptse (7,861m) and more. We will gradually walk to Camp II near Changtse glacier situated near the northern side of Everest. From here, moving closer to Lakpa RI (7045m) and the mighty Mount Everest, we will reach the Advanced Base Camp of Everest set at 6340m, which is the most amazing part of the trek.

  • Tented accommodations with full board meals during the trek prepared by Nepalese expert cook when minimum of 6 people in the group, but less than 6 people we use Tibetan staff
  • Tibet Tourism Bureau (TTB) approved Tibetan guide, require numbers of porters/yaks including their meals, salary, insurance, equipments etc.
  • Trekking equipment (two men tent, dining tent, kitchen tent, Table with chairs, kitchen utensils, and all other necessary equipments.
  • Oxygen Cylinder with mask regulator will be provided for an emergency
  • All government taxes and office service charge
